
Yoga Day at SBUP - A Path to Wellness
The School of Actuarial Science (SAS), SBUP, successfully conducted an Inter-Departmental Program (IDP) on Yoga, led by the SAS sports faculty on 21st June 2024. The event emphasized the importance of yoga in physical fitness, mental well-being, and academic performance, promoting a holistic approach to student development.
Faculties and staff actively participated in a guided yoga session, learning - Basic Asanas for flexibility & posture correction, Pranayama (Breathing Exercises) for stress reduction & mindfulness, Meditation Techniques for improved focus & emotional well-being.
SBUP & SAS continue to promote holistic well-being through such initiatives, empowering students with a healthy mind and body for academic & career success.
